OTR Drivers

PEI is hiring individuals to work as full-time or part-time tractor-trailer drivers. This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering, loading, unloading, and moving oversized shipments. At times, drivers may also have to verify shipping papers, prepare receipts for load pick up, and collect payments.

Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 21 years old
2. Must demonstrate the proof of past tractor-trailer driving experience
3. Must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
4. Should be available to work various shifts and days of the week
5. Should be capable of lifting heavy oversized objects using forklifts, dolly and other equipment. Past experience with forklifts is preferred.
6. Must have passed a physical examination within last 2 years. Main physical requirements include good hearing, at least 20/40 vision with glasses or corrective lenses, and a 70-degree field of vision in each eye. Drivers can not be colorblind.
7. Must read and speak English well enough to read traffic signs, communicate with law enforcement professionals and prepare reports

Salary: Competitive Wages

All drivers must comply with Federal regulations and any State regulations that are stricter than Federal requirements.

All drivers must pass a pre-employment drug test. Drivers are subjected to random, reasonable-suspicion alcohol and drug testing. A driver must have no current clinical diagnosis of alcoholism, and must not use any drugs which could affect his or her ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle.

Domestic Freight Account Executive - Georgia

You will be responsible for the development and signing of profitable new business, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing proposal preparation and presentation(s), start-up and customer service follow-up.

As the Account Executive you will create account base, increase revenues and improve profitability. You must have experience prospecting and cold calling and providing freight alternatives. You will plan, develop and execute sales strategies tailored to potential customers, and keep informed on competitive services and pricing.

A successful Account Executive will be expected to create customized solutions based on strategic considerations, and successfully communicate to customers value added solutions, resulting in strong business partnerships and long term customers.

Key Competencies Include:

1. Demonstrate the ability to successfully build relationships and influence key decision makers.
2. Manage customer relationships through creative problem solving.
3. Effective communication with operations and support staff
4. Aggressive hunter sales mentality.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
6. Polished electronic presentation skills.
7. Previous experience in freight forwarding is preferred.

Qualifications:

1. 1-2 Years Sales Experience.
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Background Preferred (but not required):

1. International Sales Experience.
2. Operations experience with Airfreight Forwarding.
3. Multimodal sales: LTL, Truckload, Expedited.
